Pitch, Please: Moi #06 – KINK
The imprint of rope on bare skin. Purple bruises blooming across an ass. The hot, clean shock of a slap. The strange nirvana of pain stretched just far enough.

Kink is speculative fiction with a body attached.
It builds a temporary world out of bodies, objects, rules and words. Authority gets handed over, tested, abused for pleasure, taken back. A body can become dangerous, obedient, commanding, exposed. Sometimes all four in one night.
Ordinary life runs on power arrangements that pretend to be neutral. A doctor tells you to undress. A boss decides when you eat, sit, leave. A wedding dresses possession up as ceremony. Domination, submission, humiliation, ritual, discipline, worship, pain. We know these things exist beyond the dungeon. Kink just makes them explicit, ties them up, holds them down, and asks, from behind a blindfold, what you want to do with them.
For Issue 06, we want to know what kink reveals once we stop dismissing it as “sex gone strange.” What counts as normal, anyway? Does naming a desire make it easier to live with? Can acting out a fear loosen its grip? What happens when pleasure gets mean, tender, ridiculous, theatrical, feral?
Why do rules make some people wet? Why can giving up control feel like freedom? Why does the body sometimes want pressure, restraint, pain, praise, punishment, teeth?
Send us work on domination and submission, predator and prey, pain and restraint, service and ritual, voyeurism and exhibitionism. On fetish objects, leather, latex, uniforms, harnesses, cages. On religious imagery, secrecy, exposure, sex work and digital kink communities. On sexual agency, phobia, care, dependency and aftercare.
We want pursuit. Transformation. Creature play. Pet play. Monsters. Cryptids. Bodies gone feral with fur, teeth, masks, feathers, claws, mud, spit, heat. The thing watching from the scrub. The thrill of being hunted. The relief of being caught.
We want erotic ecologies. Desire shaped by weather, landscape, animality, rot, danger, darkness. The fantasy of leaving the human behind for a while.
We want the fantasy you would never want to happen. The one you keep returning to anyway. The act that embarrasses you. The rule that gets you off. The version of yourself who only comes out when someone tells you exactly what to do.
We want work that stays with the grey. The taboo. The freedom. The mess. Pleasure without innocence. Fantasy without confession. Desire that refuses to behave itself.
Essays, cultural criticism, reported features, personal stories, interviews, photography, illustration, art, poetry, fiction.
Bring us the bruise. The mask. The protocol. The creature at the edge of the clearing. The desire that does not match your politics.
Pitch us.
